It's Friday

It is Friday. The kids are out of school, for President's day. Kurt is at his mom's, Michael is home from work because of his sinus infection. I feel my infection is coming back, whoopee. AND, we are supposed to get more snow. I feel for the people in New York, we only have a foot and a half. I just feel done with winter and coldness.
There are some bright spots, however. My friend's friend is having a wedding reception today and it is wonderful!! Something many of us have prayed about! It is wonderful how the Lord answers prayer! Even if it isn't what we "dictated" to Him, he answers. It will be, in my humble opinion, a "Yes", "Yes, but not now", or "I have something better for you". Sometimes we don't see it, or understand it, but He knows. He has the view from the top! We have also been praying about a situation with a house we rent out. He has not only given us an answer, but supplied our needs for it! Praise Him!
Again, with all the stuff happening out there, and in the news every day, one cannot help but see how time is coming to fulfillment. I am so blessed to live in a time where I can see so much and yet be given the gift of eternal life with the Lord Himself! My time here on earth may be punctuated with a sudden shout and a "Come Up Hither!" before my earthly body dies! Even if I do, I will STILL hear the shout and get to go! It is like when you were a kid and went outside to play. Toward the end of the day, mom yelled out for you "Time to come in! Supper!" And you rushed home to comfort and happiness. Kinda like what I am expecting! I am outside to play for now, but soon, the end of the day, and my Father will call out for me to Come Home, it is time for the Wedding Supper! And I will rush home, in the twinkling of an eye, and go home, where I will only have comfort and happiness! COOL!
I guess it isn't such cold day after all. It will be better, awesome, soon! Wanna come? Please, if you haven't, ask the Lord to come into your heart~He's waiting! We're having the best supper!
God Bless!
Love,
Faith

Hey Faith,

Really related to your story on Child's blog....Someday when I have the time I'll share with you some of the horrendous?sp challenges with my 13 yo step-daughter. Also related with the emotion of how sometimes they are hard to like....but I've told my own girls (only a couple times!) that "I love you but I don't like you very much right now!)

The other parent can present many challenges...especially when there are mental issues...(We have that problem also) Keep on doing what you're doing... I know its hard! I think our marriages are often tested even moreso because of the inability with ex's to present a united front.

I love you, girl! And boy am I looking up...the sky was just FULL of stars down south here last night! The weathers beautiful too!

Hey Faith,

Thanks for the post. I'm kinda outta sorts right now...my hubby called and said that Lisa's kidneys are probably shutting down. He thinks I'll get home in time but he took his black suit to the cleaners. By in time I mean next week. I get home Thursday and my hubby will leave Friday for nine days in the Phillipines. He won't be able to come home if she dies. I can't think straight right now...I don't even know how to ask you to pray but that family certainly needs them right now. A huge front page story ran on our local papers front page with a beautiful photograph re: the valentine wedding. It was titled: Reality.

Thanks for all of your support,,,,prayer and otherwise. I love you.

Faith,

Thanks for all of the prayers....I've got either a bug/virus or a case of food poisoning down here...Was up all night last night and not feeling particularly great right now. Marge suggested that maybe its just all of the stress!...Ain't she wonderful!

You are right, she's in the Fathers hands...I was trying to control things a bit a few days ago when I suggested to her husband that they try a natural compound called Can-cell/Protocell. I had a friend who was dying of cancer and the doctors told her to make her funeral arrangements as they could no longer do chemo or radiation. She went on it about 16 years ago and is healed! Totally and completely. He still wants to see what the doctors can do....You just feel SO helpless! I hope we are all right and Jesus will be here soon....but we have alot of work to do, eh? So many who still do not know Him.

Well I gotta go, girl,
I'll keep in touch.(I check in with Child usually everyday, if you need more updates)

Faith,

I just read your posts on Sue's blog. You have such a beautiful spirit. I want to thank you for being there for her.

I hope she get's over that bug soon. She certainly didn't need this now. I was so hoping that she would be able to have a little respite for a few days.

Well, better run. Keep in touch.

Love you.
